Megan is a watercolorist, psychopomp, and writer with deep connections to nature, the unseen realm, and her ancestors. Her gift is to receive information from both the seen and unseen, and to distill it into words easily understood by others. She wants others to remember how to be in community with nature and comfortable with the continuous cycles of life and death. You are most likely to find Megan either curled up with a book and one of her rescue dogs or exploring the art and writing on headstones in an old cemetery.
Amanda Nicole is a Liriodendress, the human embodiment of the Tulip Poplar tree. She is devoted to sharing the medicine and stories of this wise and ancient being. The author of Flowers for a Girl: Plant Medicine and Sexual Trauma, Amanda is the human voice of the Whispers: Plant Spirit Medicine podcast and a teacher at the Matthew Wood Institute of Herbalism. A writer, mystic, and mother of six children, Amanda is a daughter of Appalachia. She listens to the trees.
Molly Grace is a devoted mother living in Buffalo, NY. She is a lifelong fine arts enthusiast, lover of the Earth and its many Earthlings, and a voracious enjoyer of life’s simple pleasures. Look for Molly romping barefoot outside with her son, pilgrimaging to cathedrals, hauling a sack of books back to the library, or curling up next to a teapot.
Tulip Poplar is an Ancient Tree, a World Tree. Known by scientists as Liriodendron tulipifera, this beautiful tree goes by many well-loved, common names such as Lyre Tree, Canoewood, Fiddle Tree, Whitewood, Yellow Poplar, and Rainbow Poplar. Tulip Poplar's unique leaf shape is reminiscent of an angel wing, a fox face, and a harp with golden strings. Its fragrant, golden flower cups present as arboreal holy grails and light-filled cauldrons. Tulip Poplar is a sanctuary that holds the medicine of Bear, Blue Heron, Fox, Canary, Deer, Frog, Lion, Wild Mustang, and Chickadee. A dazzling Rainbow Dragon resides inside every Tulip Poplar tree. Deeply rooted in the southern Appalachian Mountains, Tulip Poplar possesses a courageous, golden heart and was traditionally offered itself as a potent, gentle heart medicine. It holds The Keys. A counselor, a writer, a songstress, a protector, an oracle, a shapeshifter, a teacher, and a patient listener, Tulip Poplar is an impenetrable fortress of Divine Light.
